Melbourne - Day 3 (Part 2) National Gallery of Victoria & Shrine of Remembrance
After that, we went out to explore CBD for the day. We took
a tram to State Library Victoria. We did people watching in front of the
library before walked in the building. We were not exactly there to reading any
books so headed directly to the Reading Room and watched other people studying
and reading. The interior of the building was so pretty and worth the time and
effort to get into the library to see the reading room itself. Then after we
got our fill of the library, we walked out of the building and fully intend to
sit on the grass outside but was reminded that we wanted to try Chocolateria
San Churro at QV. The churros itself was great and there are wide array of
chocolate based deserts available there.

Then we took a tram to the Arts Precinct to go to National
Gallery of Victoria. The gallery was closed when we arrived so took some
pictures in front of the building and stared at the mini water fall at the
entrance. After that we walked on the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and
watched people at the park running, cycling or walking with their dogs. Finally
after 20 minutes of walking at the park, we arrived at Shrine of Remembrance. The
building itself is huge and have a pantheon style of structure to it and it is a
war memorial in Melbourne built to honor the men and women who served World
War l.

Staring into nothingness
We sat at the grass to recover from the walk at the park and
just took in our surrounding. We spend my last sunset in Melbourne by relaxing
on one of the benches at the shrine and took in the sunset sky. When the night slowly
falls, we took a tram back to the CBD and went to one of my happy places =D
The moment you realized that you are
so small compared to the world
